Marketing and Development Associate
Works with senior Artistic, Marketing and Development
staff to support institutional marketing and development campaigns that promote
the image of the organization, its mission and programs to audiences, press,
donors, and Board members.
Duties
- Assist with the
implementation of the annual marketing, advertising and press campaigns
including creating select printed materials, maintaining press packets,
coordinating distribution and targeted group outreach efforts, and developing
materials for web campaigns.
- Work with the
development team to support all fundraising efforts including institutional
campaigns, benefit and donor cultivation activities and individual donor
development.
- Manage and update
the Raiser’s Edge database
- Organize and
maintain donor files
- Ensure immediate
acknowledgement of contributions
- Create and collect
support materials to enhance grant proposals
- Identify and
research funding prospects
- Assist at all
special events, opening nights, benefits, donor and member events
- Serve as the
Membership liaison
- Intern and volunteer
management
- Maintain office
supply inventory
Qualifications
- 1-2 years training
and experience in Marketing or related work
- Excellent
organizational, administrative and computer skills
- Exemplary oral and
written communications skills, including experience in producing publications
and copy editing
- Knowledge of
New York and
national arts and cultural community
- Ability to work both
independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage
several tasks simultaneously and to meet multiple
deadlines
- MS Word, MS Excel,
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator required; Adobe Flash, Video Editing
Software and Raiser's Edge, a plus

Street
Team
Support St. Ann’s Warehouse by
distributing brochures, flyers and posters in targeted neighborhoods. Complimentary tickets are available to

Internships
School credit is available for internships
with a minimum commitment of 8 hours per week over one semester. To apply, please

Technical Production
Interns who work with the Production Management staff will receive hands-on
experience in carpentry, rigging, lighting and sound engineering, with a focus
on execution and design. Interns also have the opportunity to work as members
of the production crew and house staff. Hours will vary with the production
schedule.
Administration
Interns are needed to assist St.
Ann’s busy office with producing and promoting international
and multi-disciplinary presentations. Administrative interns will work closely
with marketing and development staff and assist with general office work as
needed. Duties will be focused primarily on marketing, distribution, and
database maintenance using Raiser’s Edge, a leading non-profit development
software. Computer proficiency is a must.Interns may also assist with audience services and gala opening night
events.
Marketing
Interns assist in the promotion of St. Ann's Warehouse events and
performances. Duties include production and distribution of promotional
materials, mailing list and website maintenance. Computer proficiency is a
must.
Development
Like all not-for-profit organizations, St. Ann's Warehouse is dependent
upon financial support from a wide variety of foundations, corporations and
individuals. Intern duties include research, grant-writing, special events, and
maintaining donor database. Applicants should have excellent writing skills and
be computer proficient.
